Family Line Journey
Family Line Journey
Family Line Journey – A more detailed look into your family’s past
If you’d like to explore your ancestry beyond the basics, Family Line Journey offers a deeper dive into your family history. We’ll research multiple generations across both sides of your family, tracing names, relationships, and life events where records allow.
This service helps build a clearer picture of where your family came from, including the records we can find, the types of work your ancestors may have done, and how their lives changed over time. It’s a great middle option for those who want more than just a family tree, without going all the way into our most advanced research.
You’ll also receive clear, visual progress reports throughout the process. These show how the tree is growing and what we’re discovering along the way, so you’re not just waiting until the end to see results.
The service usually takes 6–8 weeks to complete, and we’ll keep you informed throughout.
What’s included:
-
- Research into multiple family lines, tracing back several generations
- A GEDCOM file of your family tree, ready to upload to ancestry.co.uk or other genealogy platforms
- Clear visual progress reports showing how the research is developing
- Regular communication throughout the 6–8 week research process
- Research into multiple family lines, tracing back several generations

The information i have received so far is totally amazing and great communication on s regular basis
I can't express how brilliant Joe and his team have been researching my family tree. I had hit a wall with doing it alone - and wasn't sure if I had connected the right family members. I also didn't have that much info, but that wasn't an issue. We have so far gone back to the 1800s and found that my paternal side were a family of bakers, there have also been many interesting newspaper articles. If you want to know more about your heritage, I would highly recommend them!
